Violets Bloom in Summer
$49.00
One of my unique one of a kind creations. This plate is made with a 10 inch octagon dinner plate plate, a 8 inch vintage dinner plate, 6 inch decorative plate with violets,5 inch plastic bowl hand painted, 2 inch votive candle holder and an earring. They are put together by hand drilling the plates for extra stability. They also have a strong industrial adhesive that is waterproof and weatherproof. They are put together with rubber washers bolts and nuts. These flowers never need watering or sun, but I do recommend that they be stored indoors in the winter. It is attached at the back with a nut and bolt. We include a 24” copper tube mounting stake assembly for outdoor display. It can also be displayed indoors on a plate easel. Each plate is one of a kind and put together with repurposed plates, vintage glass and assorted baubles. My husband and I sourced these creations through auction, thrift stores and rummage. We had so much fun and learned so much about vintage dishes and glass along the way. The perfect combination of creativity and shopping two things I love. I planted a few violets in spring this year and expected them to fade by summer .To my surprise they bloomed all summer on our semi wooded lot. The violets even popped up in some unexpected places and survived a possible death by round up. This flower is a memory of the tenacity of nature. And so Violet was created.

Description
My plate flowers are created by assembling hand drilled plates together for extra stability. I also use a strong industrial adhesive that is waterproof and weatherproof. Most plate flowers are put together with rubber washers bolts and nuts. These flowers never need watering or sun, but I do recommend that they be stored indoors in the winter. Some plate flowers are attached at the back with a nut and bolt and some have a bottle or hanger. We include a copper tube mounting stake assembly with select plate flowers that are constructed with the bolt and nut. Plate flowers can also be displayed indoors on a plate easel. Each plate is one-of-a kind and put together with items such as repurposed plates, vintage glass and assorted baubles. My husband and I sourced these creations through auction, thrift stores and rummage. We had so much fun and learned so much about vintage dishes and glass along the way.
